Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
The Lodge is located on the boundary of the Zambezi National Park, some
5 minutes drive from The Falls. The design is a masterpiece of thatch
and wood with intricate split-levels and indigenous trees giving the
impression of a vast, open plan tree house. Each of the 72
air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms, has its own balcony, and these,
together with the Bar, Restaurant, and Pool deck all overlook the
waterhole. The hotel is not ideally suited
for those who may have difficulty negotiating steps.
A complimentary shuttle service operates between the Hotel and the
centre of town.
Chobe National Park
Located some 90 kilometers from
the Victoria Falls, the park covers 11700 square kilometers of pristine
wilderness. Vast endless landscapes, open plains, baobabs and ancient
woodland dominate the panorama. The wildlife roams in profusion and
diversity. The elephant population, estimated to number in excess of
35000, is the largest single concentration in Africa surviving within
the confines of a proclaimed National Park. Other major species such as
lion, square lipped rhino, wild dog, sable and roan antelope are
encountered in many areas of the reserve.
Ngoma Safari Lodge:
Located on the Western boundary
of the Chobe National Park, Ngoma comprises 8 self private river facing
suites, all with panoramic views of the Caprivi floodplain and the
Chobe River. The location of the lodge takes you far away from the ever
growing crowds in the Kasane area and into the tranquil bush setting
you would expect. Activities on the private concession include game
drives, guided bush walks and then full day excursions into the
National Park including game drives and a river cruise.
