The 20 stylishly furnished, air-conditioned, wood and thatch Chalets
each with en-suite bathroom, built on stilts in the tidal lagoon of
Flamingo Bay, just 30 minutes away from the historical town of
Inhambane.
Wooden walkways, serviced by a shuttle golf cart, link the
accommodation with the main lodge which accommodates the swimming pool,
Restaurant, bar and coffee shop.
The well equipped activity centre and beach is shared with Barra Lodge.
Children under 12 years are not accepted
Barra Resorts
The Resorts have secluded, unspoiled beaches, bordered by the Inhambane
estuary on one side and the sea on the other.
Activities available at the resaort include deep sea and fly fishing,
sailing, water skiing, quadbikes, horse riding, kayaking, diving and
snorkelling. A fully equipped Dive School, equipped with indoor
training pool and modern dive equipment is available with PADI courses
offered.
